Glossary
This glossary contains many of the terms you will find in the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics websites. You can view the different definitions by domain using the drop down menu. - Area Harvested
- - the actual area from which harvests are realized. This excludes crop area totally damaged. It may be smaller than area planted. In crop statistics, this applies to temporary crops.
- Area Planted
- - the actual physical area planted to a permanent crop. This generally applies to area reported for permanent crops.
